Nel video del link si vede che puliscono una vaschetta del circuto di raffreddamento con un prodotto H3NSO3, da quanto ho capito è un acido.

Non sò che fiducia dare al filmato ( lavano la vaschetta in lavastoviglie domestica  :dimen: ), ma forse chi ne sà più di mè potrebbe dirci se potrebbe avere un fondamento questa idea ...
